Camper Cleaning Day!

Today is camper clean up day.  Outside and inside.   There is a lot to sort from the inside, but super excited to get it done.  We've attempted to do this for the last 3 days, but my husband has spent every night working on the mower.  I finally convinced him to set the camper up before he work on the mower, so I can work on the camper while he works on the mower.

It's time to purge the camper.  We have bedding for 7 people and we don't need it anymore.  I'm sure there are kids games and odd stuff that will need to go to a new home.

Out with the old and in with the new.  I've had that tan strainer since pre-kids.  Seriously.  It's cracked, stained and time to replace.  My husband is gonna faint when he finds out.  I kept telling him it was my most used strainer. The new red one is bigger, which I do like.

Difficult to let go of loved/used items! I had (notice “past tense”) a pink chenille robe my mom (now deceased) gave me nearly 30 years ago. She had been an Avon lady, and it was one of the first clothing items the company offered. It was old and soft and frequently mended, but I loved it. One Christmas it disappeared and under the tree was a new white one to replace it….it’s not nearly as comfy as my old one. Good luck on the camper clean out/up! You’ll need to take it out on an adventure once it’s spruced up.

I've had that white strainer forever too, maybe not as long as yours. I still bleach bath everything I buy/bring in the house and set that strainer in the bleachy water and, miracles of all miracles, looks like new again. But at the moment, I have three different strainers, so guess this one will stay a little longer.

Can't believe you have items for 7 people in that camper. What, oh what, will the two of you do NOW with all that room? Happy trails and camping friend.

The sunrise looks like this morning here from all the smoke we're getting from the fires out West.

Have a great cleanup and future travels.

M. Meyers, I had a favorite robe once too, and I ordered the same brand but it was not made the same, and ripped easily (sadly).

Hope you managed to get the camper cleaned out. Hopefully it won't be long before you are going on another adventure away.
