No
photos for this tidbit, but you might get a laugh. It was raining and
pretty dark out. I headed out to open the barn doors and let some light
in on the ladies and Sparta. It was still raining and too early to let
them out and about, so I

Wear it out,
Make it do,

Random Tidbits ~ Dehydrated Organic Ginger ~ Poison Ivy Remedies ~ Garden Treasures
Remember the organic ginger I dehydrated? Well, I recently made a cup of hot tea using it with my tea infuser. You could use a disposable or reusable tea bag too. Anyway, the infused color is different from using freshly grated ginger, but the taste was pretty close to using fresh, just not as strong. I'll be drying more when I find it available.

Congestion relief ~ Tidbits
You would think the jalapeno's in the chili would have opened my sinuses but they did not. I ended up brewing up hot ginger tea and that seemed to do the trick.
Sadie enjoyed her homemade dog food. She devoured it. I give thanks to the blog "With a Grateful Prayer and a Thankful Heart" for posting the references and information regarding making homemade dog food.

No Babies Yet ~ Homesteading Tidbits
I started my day out with some homemade hot ginger tea. The stress here has been at it's highest. And it's not Hubby.

Thinking Christmas 2014 in February? ~ Hot Ginger Tea
Don't throw tomatoes at me just yet. Ha ha! I found this wonderful book at our library. It's full of edible gift ideas (many that are brilliant ideas for handmade/homemade Christmas gifts), and there are a few that I plan to try early this year. Just sharing in case you are looking for new ideas.
