Food pantries in our area are in need of donations. I re c ently put together an e-mail , en courag ing my farmgirl f riends to donate this season. T he sad part is, that most of America today, is suffer ing with their own income. Most people are alrea dy barely making ends me et with raising kids, school costs, let alone put food on t he table ( healthy foo d at that). I was able to colle ct $25 .00 from all the letters (a nd pho ne calls) I mailed out, and it came from a food manuf acturer in Michig an. Then I remem bered th at my husban d's emplo yer will donate $300.00 to a charity of our requ est, however we needed the correct i nformation in a short amo unt of time. With luck, we were able to have his employer donate $300.00 in his behalf, to an are food bank. I also offere d to write up a flyer to present recipes for homemade detergent , which is anot her item visitors of the food pantry need. I was told that people would not pick it...
