Making Tea Bags

To make tea making a bit quicker (and travel friendly), I made some homemade medicinal tea bags.  Chickory root works great in these.  Anyway, I tried out my new smaller (travel size) iron for this job.  A hair straightener will work to seal them too.  I bought my bags for the teas from Mountain Rose Herbs.  I can easily put these in my husband's or girl's lunches when needed.  I have amber glass jars to store extra pre-made teabags in.

Kristina, I haven't made tea bags ( cup size) in years! But I remember those days. Now I'll just place my infuser spoon in s baggie and go.

mamasmercantile, you can buy the bags to fill yourself and seal with an iron. I buy mine online from Mountain Rose herbs. No bleach etc in the material of the teabag.

Cockeyed Jo, I just didn't want to mess with packing the infuser this trip.

Cindy, thank you for asking. We are back home after a much needed vacation, but I think we'll need another one after this one. Again, thanks for asking about me.
