We interrupt this blog....

...with a short announcement.  Hubby's sister "L" had a heart attack and we've been running back and forth between two hospitals.  Sister "P" is also in a hospital.

Sister "L" is the same one that was diagnosed with pancreatitis, which we now know was incorrect.  Her pain was due to blockages and doctors never looked.

Thus, she was ambulanced to the same hospital that Hubby and I were both in.  Once there she stopped breathing.  They brought her back, but could not do a bypass emergency surgery.  Her heart was shocked by the CPR, so it has to rest up for possible stents.

The updates are continuously different, so we don't know yet what will happen with sister "L."  She is however, breathing on her own, but tube was still in when we left today.   The back part of her heart is damaged, but the front is good.  We are praying her heart gets a good rest and she can get the surgery needed.

Sister "P" is recovering from an infection around her GI tube.  She was absolutely thrilled to see us walk in.  All the rest of the family is up at the other hospital, so company was a welcome.

We hope to actually get some sleep tonight, because last night's update was that there was going to be no surgery, and that hospice was getting called in.  This morning, that update changed (it was a new nurse and gave incorrect information). This morning I wanted to hunt her down and giver her a piece of my mind (stressing out that entire family like that unnecessarily).

While the family/friends are pretty much living up at the big hospital, we are running back and forth.  We are both mentally tired and just want to free both sister's from the joints they are in.

I'll update as soon as I can.  Right now, I'm going to get some leftovers for dinner, and go to bed very early.

Oh, so sorry to hear of all these medical problems in your family. Sounds as though your SIL, "L", is one lucky lady to have gotten to the hospital as soon as she did. Hoping both she and "P" are on the road to recovery soon.

WOW!!!
Sending prayers for you all, especially for those who are in the hospitals.
Praying God will multiply the rest of all of you, when you are able to rest.
God bless.
