Fall Blooms ~ Extreme Clean Continues

Despite lack of weeding, the front flower beds are full of color.

Once I have my indoor work completed, the girls and I will be working outside.  In fact, Hubby enlisted the help of extended family today, to help clean our gutters, and some other outside work, including mowing 6 acres.  Sigh....missing those goats again.

Our 18 year-old has moved into her college dorm, so we have dwindled down to four now.  She's missing her dog already.  Classes start on Monday. Her older sister opted to stick around here, and started college last Monday nearby.

Two nice surprises yesterday.  First, I had collards to pick!  Yay!  Second, our propane provider was having a sale, in which if we filled now, it was $.99/gallon.  That saved us about half the cost of last year.

My day yesterday otherwise?

There was more.....just too tired this morning to type it all out.  And there is more to clean (light fixtures, window blinds, and windows, door windows, etc.)

However, I'm all ready to swap out flip flops and shorts for winter boots, carhartts and coats.   What's next after the inside is done?  The vegetable garden.

Breakfast on the porch sounds good this morning.  Rain is in the horizon, so I'm glad we are teaming up with outside work today.  Two of us have a bad case of the sniffles, but it's from allergies and all the dust we've been kicking up.

DDD, I do not usually get this much done in even a day, but with the garden getting flooded out this year, I am making sure I take the time to get it all done. Thanks for the comment about my flowers.

What a pleasant surprise to get such a good deal on the propane! That must have helped the budget a bit. Your late summer flowers are so pretty. My zinnias are finally coming into full bloom (so late this year) and with our upcoming week of warmer weather again, I hope they continue to give me lots of bouquets to bring in the house. Keep up the good work on the cleaning. You're really doing a fantastic job of fall house cleaning this year!

Sam I am, I am so tired, and we have more to do today yet.

Mama pea, I was so happy about the price of propane. We filled up before winter last year, but paid more than double we did this year.

Got to get the hummingbird feeders cleaned today, a regular weekend chore this time of year. Then will clean the bathroom. And then will be time for a nap. Still fighting off this virus weariness. Need to get some vitamins I think.
Have a great week ahead.
God bless.
