We have been blessed with free, old wooden framed windows. I am not certain, but we may be building a green house with them soon. We can use it to start our seeds early, and grow plants later into the cooler months as well.

Wear it out,
Make it do,
Or go without."

Lola ~ Our One Tetratint
The baby chicks are not yet ready to go outside yet. Once they have all of their feathers, and the weather is nice, we can finally put them in their separate coop from the hens. I am praying they all get along, and that we don’t have more than one rooster in this new batch of barred rocks. Our plan is to sell eggs by the roadside this summer. That is, if we have any extras after making homemade noodles, etc. and sharing with our families. They love their new organic chicken feed.
