(since the last handiwork post)
. . . finished the XL purple pot holder. It was made to match some hot pads I recently made. Although, I used the solid color to edge it.

(since the last handiwork post)
. . . finished the XL purple pot holder. It was made to match some hot pads I recently made. Although, I used the solid color to edge it.
. . . still working on the cardigan, and one sleeve is done.
. . .new project (like I need another, ha ha!) lanyards
. . .I found a bracelet that I didn't finish, so it's on the list again
(Couldn't get a photo because this project is buried in my mess of a closet)
. . .a scrap yarn rug in the making
. . .a lapghan in the making.
. . .a thin crochet thread dishcloth on a hook.
I'm sure there are more on the hook, but I most likely won't get them all found until later this fall. Garden season has taken over most of my time right now.
. . . progress on one sleeve of the cardigan. My husband was right. I may not get it done until summer. I sort of lost my mojo on this project. Too many "irons in the fire" right now.
. . .started another rag rug for one shower. The rug is using up bedding I had in the closet, which also helps clear out the closet a bit. The very center brown color is actually an old apron.
(old photo, but you can see I'm working from bottom to top)
.. . . Up to row 81 (out of 84) on the crocheted cardigan, with the sleeves getting started after that. Just a basic pattern, but my first clothing for adults to even crochet.
. . .started new Christmas tree ornaments for the 2021 Christmas (using up wine corks in my stash).
. . .got one "scrap" Christmas ornament crocheted.
. . .finished a set of hot pads
. . .started another set of hot pads
. . .got the crochet part of Mom's Christmas present done. Just have to sew the inner part - it's a heatable wrap. The inner part will be made using an old bed sheet for the fabric. I haven't decided if I will fill the inner bag with just rice or mix it with lavender.
. . .so far on the cardigan. I hope it fits her when it's done. I put a crochet hook in one of the "invisible" pockets (worked from bottom up).
. . .crocheted pieces for 5 red truck ornaments. Just have to sew them together.
. . .started on a purple set to sell (hopefully before Christmas)
I'm working on some ornaments as well. I've lacked the motivation, but going through scrap items I have to come up with more ideas.
. . .crocheted 4 dishcloths and they all sold.
. . .crocheted some soup bowl cozies. I had a special request.
. . .have gotten this far with one daughter's cardigan for Christmas. The SM are marking the spots for the pockets.
(sorry no photo for some odd reason)
. . .got a few more dish scrubbies made
. . .started back on the "f" bombsMy Aunt always wrote to me. One thing she always reminded me, was "always take 5 minutes for yourself." I did that yesterday. The day still went too fast, but I got some handiwork done (not all of this was done in one day, ha ha! I've been wanting to post for a while, but had zero free time).
