The only issue I have is that the battery cover pops off easily. I just put some duct tape over it.
The bags are more difficult to seal than a regular ziploc bag, but once sealed they work great.
Update on these after almost a year of using them: Now that it's just us too, I plan to put all what I freeze in one larger bag, and just take out what we need. Other than corn, I think it will work great for us, and us on buying ziploc bags this year.

Interesting! I didn't even know they made a handheld sealer. I always think of the big food saver ones. This is good to know.
Leigh, I love it. I just didn't want to buy a large appliance for the kitchen.
I just got a Food Saver system, I like it and think it will help keep things frozen better/longer. It is an investment, just like stocking the pantry. Husband is a keeper...
Faith, I have so many people trying to talk me into a Food Saver, but I lack space. The hand held works for now, and I can open a bag, get what I need, and seal it back up. Re-using the bags. Maybe in my next home, lol!
