Busy Bee but all Good!

We've been busy.  First, Daughter took her exam for state board for cosmetology.  This required travel, and a whole lot of waiting.  School paid for the exam, but not lodging nor the license (that was another $45.00).  I read my book, and crocheted cross bookmarks, and we did a little bit of sight seeing window shopping as well.

Our hotel was the most fanciest hotel we've had.  There was a doorbell (I'm told it's for hearing impaired), curtains that operated by a button to pull them up or put them down, and the largest TV I have ever watched TV on.

Oh, she passed her exam.  Woohoo!  She has her license now.

Second, another daughter got me out of the house to take care of some errands.  Thankful for that.

Third, the car parts arrived, so that's been going on too.

Fourth, the baby blanket and booties were delivered.  It was a bit of a haul, but done.

We have had some foggy and beautiful mornings.  I hope this is a sign we'll all have a bountiful year.  Today we are told we'll get snow showers.

I just let our dog out for his morning bathroom break and run ( as he likes to go check my daughters' house and my father in laws house) and it was sleeting outside. Yesterday it was 60 degrees. UGH! However, I did find tulips and lilies sprouting up yesterday so it should not be long.

Been foggy here some mornings too. Can barely see the neighbor's house some mornings. Wind whipping up tonight. Sounds like the hounds of hades are outside the door.
I bet your trip and stay in the hotel was really fun, and congrats to your daughter for passing her exam. They're hard because of all the chemicals, so kudos to her for passing it.
Went to the VA neurologist yesterday. I thought I was having problems with vertigo but it came and went. They did several tests and determined I've been having TIAs. They put me on a baby aspirin to start, but I have an appointment with a VA neurological surgeon on the 30th to determine if I'm a good candidate for "routing out" (they said" the channel in my neck vertebrae. Not looking forward to that, but if the Lord brings you to it, He will bring you through it. I believe that.
So praying everyone has a great weekend and a safe one too. Remember to turn the clocks forward tonight, or is it back? I usually just look at my cell phone time and then match all the clocks in the house up to that. LOL
God bless.

RB Thanks for the clock reminder. I almost forgot!

Congratulations to your daughter! Exams like that are so nerve-wracking. I know she's relieved and probably ready to get out and put her new certification to good use.
