Hope Chests ~ Leave a Legacy

At one point, I actually had an article published with suggestions on what to put into a child's hope chest.  Today I read through this book from library, and felt it was worth sharing.

Kids can learn to boil an egg, make an omelet, tie knots, split wood, sew a button (with wonderful pictures), re-pot a plant, hang curtains, create a draft free door, clean a fish, treat a snake bite, treat electric shock, and even how to survive a chemical or biological attack.  This is a perfect addition to any child's hope chest, and will help a young adult survive in today's world.  Although I saw a few sections that were common sense, it's packed with a lot of useful information.
