. . . from the Handiwork Journal

✔Spray painted more clipboards.

✔Booked two craft shows.  One in Nov. and one in Dec.

✔Cut up 10 yards of blue netting, cut up 10 yards of netting, then pink is next.  It's quite a job too.  I have to cut 10 yards in 3 inch strips.  I found an easier way, but it's still time consuming.

I want to add items to my craft shows for men.  What else besides these items would sell?

Hat
Scarf
Bookmark
Cup cozy
Slippers?  Not sure these would sell
eyeglass cases

  1. I have never sold them, but for winter my hubby loves this ear warmer. http://www.grandioseideas.com/?p=58.
Didn't know if you do Ravelry. Pattern is on there. The ear band cups the ears and are so warm. I make for women and men. Just adjust the length.

  4. My son who works on cars and plows etc. in the wintertime really liked the fingerless mitts I made him. There are also patterns for ones that convert from regular mittens to fingerless and back again. You can also knit or crochet neck ties and bow ties. Of course hats or earmuffs are always needed and I think the cowls are better than scarves. Just my opinion.

  5. Fingerless gloves for the guys? They sure are handy when you need to use your fingers to do a job on cold days.

  6. HI Kristina,
I wonder if guys would like those rice filled heat/cold packs that you make with fabric. Especially if you did them in team colors or even team specific fabrics. Hope your sales go well !

  7. Debby that's another great idea. I need one for myself. I may need to get the sewing machine out soon.
