It's rained every day now. I continue to battle mud, sweat and giant weeds. I found Queen Anne's Lace growing in my garden, so two flower heads are now in my freezer awaiting more, for some sweet jelly.

Nice shots, too bad it was so dark...
ReplyDeleteI've noticed vultures doing the exact same thing on the tree tops after a rain. Maybe warming up / drying off?
ReplyDeleteWe've got Queen Anne's Lace up the Wazoo. Mind sharing your jelly recipe?
Now thats one big bird!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, Queen Anne's Lace jelly... that sounds interesting! Will have to take a peak at that post.
ReplyDeleteHugs and have a pleasant week,

P.S. We haven't gotten any rain for several days now but it is wicked humid, ick! :D
Ummm, forgot to ask, how did the Queen Anne's Lace jelly turn out? I mean did you like it?

I followed the recipe as it stated, and it turned out fine each time. I don't use food coloring, and my kids love the taste of it on toast. It's not like the honey taste of Dandelion, but more of a citrus type flavor.
