Homemade Marshmallows
I've been wanting to make homemade marshmallows for a year now. I finally took time on Sunday to make some. I was surprised at how easy these cut too.
Instead of vanilla, we added orange extract. The combination of chocolate and orange (for S'more's) sounded good.
The recipe we used, required ChillOver Powder that is natural. It works just like gelatin.
Update: My family of taste testers gave all thumbs down on this. We did not like the taste of it, or the texture. We'll be looking for a different recipe, and not using this powder.

ReplyDeleteI have her Chill-Over powder but have not tried the marshmallows yet. That's great that they're easy to cut as I thought that was the hard part! LOL!
