Misfortune can strike all of us at any given time - it's always a good idea to keep that in the back of your mind and to be as prepared as possible. I'm afraid most people would be in a world of hurt if their fortunes would shift.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12573143203599624833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264863019487640784.post-8939642225266595122015-02-23T04:20:44.370-08:002015-02-23T04:20:44.370-08:00Thank you Mary!Thank you Mary!Pioneer Woman at Hearthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16533698959389851926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264863019487640784.post-85197603933769299082015-02-22T22:05:53.980-08:002015-02-22T22:05:53.980-08:00Far from feeling bad, you inspire me. Your talent & stick to it-ness really does give me something to think about, especially on a bad day, it leaves me with a feeling that all of us out there, are in this together, in one way or another. As to making do, due to being without income, my late husband was in a union, and we went through a few strikes, but the roughest experience was when he became ill, and lost his job, and health insurance. That was a real scramble.Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09190709335203893977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264863019487640784.post-69536321864514386342015-02-22T11:20:05.949-08:002015-02-22T11:20:05.949-08:00Rain, thank you too! My bf and I are moving towards a more self-sufficient lifestyle one step at a time. Today is homemade yogurt day, dreaming of garden day and watching the snow fall day up in the northern mountains of Quebec. And to answer your question, no...we are not fully prepared if we lose our income, but we're getting there, courage to you all.Rain https://www.blogger.com/profile/14377719049819222133noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264863019487640784.post-58191726611358751902015-02-22T07:45:10.939-08:002015-02-22T07:45:10.939-08:00To me, your posts about everything you manage to m...To me, your posts about everything you manage to make at home are nothing but an inspiration. I'm certainly not as knowledgeable or talented in that respect as you are but you definitely inspire me to learn more and do more. I figure the more self-sufficient we all become (in all ways that are comfortable and possible) the better off we are. Relearning the lost art of producing necessities at home gives such a sense of confidence. It's like taking our freedom back in our own hands after many years of relying on big business or other individuals to supply what we need often at prices we simply cannot afford.

You never present your accomplishments in a boastful or superior way. Readers can take the information and run with it. Or choose not to. Please keep up your very informative, inspiring, and interesting posts, Kristina!Mama Peahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03649357184167949247noreply@blogger.com
