Ha! Just what she'd do too.Pioneer Woman at Hearthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16533698959389851926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264863019487640784.post-64670090656247246182016-10-18T06:41:16.193-07:002016-10-18T06:41:16.193-07:00Glad your chickens escaped harm and congrats to yo...Glad your chickens escaped harm and congrats to your daughter for the hike! It was just too far from the house. I need a cart with a rain barrel next year. I will have to purchase pie pumpkins this year.Pioneer Woman at Hearthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16533698959389851926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264863019487640784.post-38184261344947191462016-10-12T03:36:09.417-07:002016-10-12T03:36:09.417-07:00Mama Pea, I love blueberries and bananas in our oa...Mama Pea, I love blueberries and bananas in our oatmeal too.Pioneer Woman at Hearthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16533698959389851926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264863019487640784.post-33010124364284759112016-10-12T03:35:37.693-07:002016-10-12T03:35:37.693-07:00Thank you Kim. I said, uh, no I was running to the barn to save my ladies and Sparta.Pioneer Woman at Hearthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16533698959389851926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264863019487640784.post-70551537080171150852016-10-11T18:56:14.224-07:002016-10-11T18:56:14.224-07:00Did your daughter hiking the Appalachians get any ...Did your daughter hiking the Appalachians get any of Hurricane Matthew? We got hit hard here in Central NC with high winds and flooding. We live on top of a hill, so we didn't experience any flooding, but we did lose power noonish Saturday until 2pm Tuesday. I wanted a shower so bad it was awful, but then I remembered people flooded out and the 18 people dead, mostly drowned in cars they were trying to drive through high water, and I didn't feel so bad about not showering anymore. Many schools are closed for the rest of the week because it's still unsafe for school buses to travel.
I pray for those affected, still so many flooded out.
Have a great week.
God bless.
RB
<><
RBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13053380234618898848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264863019487640784.post-44392768741466851452016-10-11T07:35:47.561-07:002016-10-11T07:35:47.561-07:00Even your date night jar is special! I know what you mean about fresh herbs - last year I brought in a pot of parsley and this year I am doing the same. We just got a good, solid frost, so my time is running out!Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12573143203599624833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264863019487640784.post-12009044559962851642016-10-11T06:48:23.421-07:002016-10-11T06:48:23.421-07:00We had "oatmeal" for breakfast this morn...We had "oatmeal" for breakfast this morning, too. Ours with homegrown (frozen and thawed) blueberries. I don't know if I could make it through the winter season without frozen chives to add to so many things I cook . . . both for nutrition and needed color!Mama Peahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03649357184167949247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264863019487640784.post-36629756532384436572016-10-11T04:51:29.481-07:002016-10-11T04:51:29.481-07:00I always enjoy your posts.
