I have friends who installed laminate and had to replace the flooring within 2 years. I don't like carpeting myself, but there are better options than laminate.Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09190709335203893977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264863019487640784.post-10431199998635916532013-01-06T19:53:06.407-08:002013-01-06T19:53:06.407-08:00We got rid of our carpet down stairs a year ago. Plus if something gets spilled I just grab a rag. We found a nice laminate from Costco, installed it ourselves and it looks great! I bought a couple of small area/runner rugs. I wash them as needed. Easier on the allergies, and more hygenic. Who know what grows in that stuff? It will be much cheaper down the road too, since it will last longer...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00576053785355324560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264863019487640784.post-32439694838772844342013-01-06T09:11:14.932-08:002013-01-06T09:11:14.932-08:00I use my broom to get the cobwebs down...
