Puttin' Up Herbs ~ Sugar Snap Peas

The last batch of oregano I dried, filled two pint jars.  I am hoping the catnip grows quickly, so I can dry more of that for my catnip tincture (for homemade bug spray).

The catnip pot was the only pot that survived the raccoon party on the porch.  The comfrey survived somewhat, and that is very much needed.  A vital herb to healing.

I picked our first sugar snap peas.  Hubby and I love to snack on them, fresh off the vine.

Short post today.  Recovering from a sinus infection.  Or what I believe to be as one.

Those snap peas look good! My vines are only about 4" high so far. A ways to go.

Sinus infections are nasty! Feel better soon.

Mama Pea, due to that last frost, I lost a few peas, but they are producing at only 12 inches high. Odd. My vines usually go up the fence about 3 or 4 feet. All of the shell peas I replanted are up, but only about 4 inches. I'm drinking more tea today. Thanks.

Vitamin C is good for sinus infections. You need about 8-10,000 IUs daily to make a difference when an infection is present; only about 2,000 IU daily when one isn't.
Our Dad grew one row of peas. We ate them like candy between meals so there was never any to harvest which was fine with us.
Pearl is gorgeous. I hope she works out.
Prayers everyone has a safe and blessed weekend.
God bless.

RB, thanks for that tip. I am drinking lots of hot medicinal teas, which also have lots of vitamin C too. I'm feeling much better already.
