Puppy Update

Zuri is not getting much larger in the way of height, but getting muscular.  She's very curious of everything around here outside and inside.  She has a very particular "stranger danger" bark as well as King.  You can't sneak past them without them hearing you.  She gets along with the cats, but hasn't quite understood the goats yet.  King wants to lick the goats and give them kisses.

King is still nick-named "Sassy Pants."  He'll sass back when you tell him to back up or what not.  These two are best buds.  If I take one out without the other, the one left inside cries and whines, even if they don't have to do any business outside.

King already has a new collar.  He's getting larger, but we don't know yet if he'll have the height or size of a German Shepherd.

The training is going wellKing still tries to sneak into the kitchen when there is food cooking.  Zuri listens much better in that regard.

We are still planning to get that fence up, but weather, time and a dead tree all play part of the construction.  I'll just tackle other jobs until the right time comes.

I think it's so neat that they have each other for good buddies. Having two dogs grow up together like yours, you can really tell the differences in their personalities. Good dogs!

Those faces! It's so interesting how they have such individual personalities. My three are all very different, but get along very well, thank goodness. Puppies keep you young!

goats? You have goats again? I must have missed that... fun!

Debby, yes, we have to Nigerian Dwarf wethers for the pasture. They are inexpensive mowers. We hope to be back in the dairy business in a few years (smaller goats than Lamancha).

Mama Pea, they are already very close to our hearts. We still have puppy casualties, but not as much as before, ha ha! They have lots of chew toys.

Susan, our three get along too. I was worried poor ol'Jesse would not have it, but he's even been caught playing with them, ha ha!

They are so cute! LOL, How adorable about King wanting to give the goats kisses! Would be great if you could get a picture of that.

Anna, it's the Lab in him that makes he love everything and everybody, ha ha!
