Self Sufficiency

I broke down and purchased us a current Farmer's Almanac.  Other than watching the nightly news, I am reading this to see how accurate it will be.

After last year's horrible, miserable, rotten garden year,  I thought we should at least see if the predictions will help guide us a bit more.  We are praying for a good year and a bountiful harvest.

(just sharing a funny cartoon one of my wonderful Aunt's sent me)

I'm concentrating on a better/more garden(s) this year. Last year I was busy learning to milk my goat :)

Oh, that cartoon is too funny! LOL! You might also look at Mother Earth News website as they have lots of great up to the minute gardening news etc. You probably already know that though.

Praying for a good one for all here. It's been such a wet winter (or is it spring already, hard to tell), I pray that will benefit the gardens rather than leading to mold and root rot, but God will provide regardless.
God bless.
