Toilet Tank Tim ~ Farm and Family Updates

I had to laugh when I saw Tim.  He was sleeping in the toilet tank outside.  We called him "Toilet Tank Tim" as he slept here most of the day.

Later in the day, hubby did get the bathroom finished, and the toilet was back inside.  My son put the trim back in.  We could not find the same flooring, so the old flooring (nicks and all) went back in.  We don't have cash to buy all new flooring.  The toilet did not have to be replaced thankfully.

The ladies were confused when I fed them their sprouted beans.  However, when I dumped some directly on the driveway, they devoured them.  I think they don't like eating out of a pie pan.

I'm still painting kitchen cupboards.  I hope to have it finished prior to holiday cooking.

Woot-woo! glad you got your 2nd bathroom going again. Just throw a rug over the floor for now. Don't forget to pick it up every now and again to dry the floor underneath. You might try polyurethane over any nics and scratches too. Just offering.
As to the chickies...that is funny. I put some scraps in a plastic microwave pan (from a leftover TV dinner) and they wouldn't touch it. Made them scared; once I turned it out on the ground...they scarfed it up!
silly chickens.

Looking good! You are such a self-sufficient group! I really admire all of you! I wish you lived next door as I could use an extra hand now and then! LOL!
I'm old but all my neighbors are in worse shape than me and some are younger! LOL!
I'm in the same boat. I need and want new floors but can't afford it but I hate the carpeting so much I'm thinking of ripping it up and just painting the plywood underneath....that's how much I dislike carpeting. I like everything washable without having to drag out a machine! Or rent one.
